whatever sin you had in mind for this to represent isn't shown clearly enough. Composition is so-so. Lighting seems like it needs some work. 3 wingy

I've never read this book, and I have no clue what it's about, so I will assume that there is something "7 sins-like" in the book. I am very glad there is a light highlighting the edge of the book, or else it would have blended in too well with the shirt. The lighting is good, and I think that the angle and framign/cropping are also good. The strangle angle here works to give it some interest rather than just a person reading a bood. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

I don't care for the angle of the photo or the subject. Sorry it isn't interesting to me.

As a French speaker, I'm not familiar with Salinger's work. I'll have to correct that ASAP. Great shot and I'm sorry (for me mainly) that the allusions escape me. But think of that: when I get to read the book, your picture will be in my mind somewhere :-) marcvg. Oh, forgot to say anything about the photo. I think the composition is great. I like the monotone effect. The only thing I don't like so much is the wall texture which sort of intrudes. Good luck with the challenge. 8

Good clean depiction of subject. Would have liked a little more light to the overall picture

I'm not sure about the framing, idea nice, book looks good, I'm not sure if lighting is the problem or just sharpness.

Been to long, what is the reference? Zeiss

Nice use of lighting

I'm sure there is something here that I don't get maybe if I was a little older I would get the significance of this book but it does little for me now.

Very well framed. Lighting is average. I fail to see the originality in relation to the theme. 5/10

I like it

Great composition and use of color. I especially like the subtle color of her lips.
