Theme? it was cold, as in ice, and all needs to be sharp? It was a motion pan. The tone was specifically chosen for cold.

No matter. I really liked this shot. Not the easiest to get when at the 400mm+ focal length, especially with the dynamics of a hockey game - rarely do the players go in a straight line or in a predictable manner. Try it sometime.

Great shot! I missed both the hot and cold challenges. Really in the spirit of the game, the angle works very well, and yes, the tones are perfect for "cold".

nice sense of movement and i like the angle....the only thing that bugs me is the thick dark line that draws my attention away from the skater
