 Well I'm pretty happy with the top 10. Even better, it's a PB for me.

I originally wanted to do this with a coke can as I think the red against the black would have looked better, but I think the blue turned out pretty good. The piece of glass I used to drain the sugar onto was 1/2" thick and cause a double reflection which I don't like. I layed it out on a piece of black velvet and curled the velvet up for the backdrop.

Yeah if you were to remove all the liquid from the soda that's about what it looks like. What a great job you did taking this photo and getting it all set up.

Yeah, typically, 10-12 teaspoons/can ... and remember that the sugar is dissolved in carbonic acid.
