 The horse is resting and rolling around - not dead or sick. This is up at the burro and horse sanctuary where I was 4th of July weekend.

I processed this with Lucis Exposure, nik efex Bi-Color Filter, Darken/Lighten center, Redfield Fractalius, which I faded a lot.

Then I overlayed it with a goodman filter - bless her. Erased off of clouds and horse - and that's about it.

Lovely image. The tones are fantastic as is the subject matter. I rarely see a horse like that. I thought it had died at first. lol

I'm kind of fond of those fence shadows...the right one steers you right to the horse on the lying on the ground.

I got the meaning with the leading lines to the horse taking a siesta. Great watercolor look to this image.

I really like how you composed this one. When my boy is lazy like this, he'll let me cuddle and sit right by him. Of course I immediately get out of the way when he decides to get up!

The overlay and filters that you used add a lot of richness to the tones. I like the lines of shadows.

I'm so glad you explained ..... got real worried bout the horse :p. Love the feeling that I'm one of the horses inside looking out. Cool tones and editing!!
