Cool idea, image seems a little small.

Trite but true. I think your picture might have been more effective if it were bigger and the focus a bit crisper.

Too small, nice composition.

the compositon is not interesting and doesn't really provide any context for how a flag represents strength

This is a very small picture I know lot of people will say it but hopefully you will learn better too keep your pictures big in the next challenge, Anyway I think its a very tight crop, which could be good for someone and bad for others, I personally would have liked to see a little more of it, and there seems to be a little lack of focus/sharpness, anyway good luck :)

The focus os a bit soft all over. This sort of image needs to be sharp, clear and bright. Or show the flag in an interesting setting. Rumple it more... do *something* with it.

Small image, purplish tint on the red stripe, and the crease detracts from the strength of the flag.

There is nothing wrong with the photo but I've already seen same two with other wind direction...

Nice composition but think a bit more of the bottom right corner could be red.

You shot is pretty small. If you need help sizing your pictures search the forums and also look in the tutorial. If you will tell me what SW you use I'll help if I can.

For some reason we always get a lot of american symbols in these challenges. I like to vote on a) uniqueness and originality b) good composition c) excellent lighting that makes the image "pop" (I have trouble with this myself) d) good DOF (if appropriate) and e) a crisp, clear image free of tons of noise and compression artifacts. I'm starting to feel the religious and american symbols are not as unique anymore. This one has good composition, but the lighting doesn't really make it pop. I'm not sure what you could do differently with the lighting. It seems like there is a lot of noise and pixelation. I realize I'm only one voter and there are quite a few Americans involved in DP challenge so this image may speak to them more personally. The only other suggestion I have (for future challenges) is to try to use up the entire 640x480 pixel space for the image. You'll find most winners have large images. - 5

Sort of cliche for me.

Very subjective, this one. I don't think that the US is strong, but it is powerful. Not the same thing. ALso, this image is far too little. (1)
