Nice tone to the picture. The eyes could use a bit more light and I would prefer he was looking into the frame instead of out of it.

great tone and detail on the sailor. not too crazy about the high contrast background, though.

Nice desat technique. I only wish you'd either used a teeeeny bit of fill flash or a reflector. Too much detail is lost in his eyes and lower face.

The lack of color in the background works well to draw the viewer into the sailor's face. Good depiction of the challenge. 8.

Rugged looking guy. I like the de-saturation of the colors. Wish I could see his eye a bit more. Nice shooting..very nice 9 from me.

I love the expression and character reflected in the man's face, as well as the textures of his beard, cap and sweater. Excellent picture!!
