Wow! What a great pier and a lovely portrait. Nice composition too with framing from the trees and an off-centre layout.

I like the subject, that is an interesting interpretation. Someone standing on a crooked pier...I like the colors in this photo, the way the dock gradates from one color to the next. The choppy water is nice too, and the branches hanging into the photo kind of point me back into the photo. I like the repetition in the posts on the dock, and the posts contrasting with the dock also. Nice work!

The shot looks a little bit pixelated, but nice concept and good shot anyways.

Very nice composition...but I think this would be better as "balance".

A stretch to meet the challenge. It would be better without the guy and in B&W but then it really wouldn't meet the challenge.

The other side of the river overloads the picture. I would have Croped it more.

Not having experience with this, I don't know how much strength is needed to do this compared with how much balance. But the trees intruding into the head of the man which is the subject of the photo, hurts the image.

I like this, you wouldn't see me on the end of that thing! Think the bracnches distract a little, could this have worked shot lower down?

I absolutely love this. I have the feeling you may have sharpened the image a bit too much. On my screen, the sharpness is a bit too much. I think you have great rich colours and contrast already and maybe didn't need to sharpen it so much. However, this really stands out as an original and unique submission - 7
