 Thanks for the comments everyone. A few of you asked how it was done, so I will try to explain here. I should note, however, that the idea is not originally mine. One of the first photos that drew me to this site was from hokie, and this was the image:


Now, the how to:

I bought fabric from a fabric store for the background, and draped it onto a chair. Placed the apple on top, and set up the camera on a tripod. Shutter was on a delay, and was set for 3s. I used a small LED penlight (photon microlights) to create the light around the apple. Try this a bunch of times until you get the light patterned the way you want, and your done.

I so get this. I think. Our knowledge is our energy within, hence the light (energy)and the apple is the fruit. No I don't do drugs! 8
