Beautiful. I would have cropped a bit off the top, to bring the baby's hand centered up in the frame.

I'm usualy not a fan of 'soft' photos...but this is a great use of the technique. communicates the emotion of the moment... I like it! :-)

Wow!!! I can feel the softness of the little one's hands. Your soft focus attempt is really successful with the theme. Great composition. I like the color. Overall a very pleasant shot worth seeing multiple times. Bravo!!

Of the many photos of this type I've seen, this is certainly one of the best. It has lovely soft directional lighting, tack sharp focus, texture, in the baby and adult skin patterns and fingerprints, a "geometric" repeating pattern, with a focal point, and a lovely duotone that complements the whole mood.
