Well, one of your five tens was mine. Good processing.

This picture is proof that the DPC crowd is too Mary Poppins... this is a great photo with very dark undertones and that seems to be too much for some DPC'ers to handle. The 9 1,2,and 3's are simply because you had a gun.

I think this should have been at least .5 higher than it was.

94th? 5.8? WTH! You were robbed. Hurt by politics maybe. I'm not a gun guy but still thought this was an excellent shot. Great lighting. Great emotion. Great processing.

Lighting and processing remind me of old Dutch oil paintings -- suitable for the mood and emotion you are trying to convey.

Jason, this a powerful statement and I do hope people get your point, if they don't their missing out on a fantastically telling image. You have captured a fantastic and difficult emotion to convey and you have done a great job of it. Your lighting and composition are terrific and the DoF is spot on. You have a lot to be proud of with this shot. I find it difficult to photograph myself (noted by the lack of SP's in my portfolio) but may you can it done and done well. Good on you mate and I do hope you do well in this one. I should hope to see this one in the top 10!!

10 from me mate and a well deserved one at that:)

All the best with the challenge.

MAX!

Great photo- everything about it- the lighting, the detail, the theme, model, framing. I don't want to jinx you but this is a 10 and I'm hoping for a ribbon for you- it deserves it.
