With all due respect to The Colonel, I think this picture is a rockin' example of both gluttony and sloth. If I had been around to vote, it certainly would've bee on of my favorites, both because of how you met the challenge and because of how well composed I think it is (someone mentioned not being set up by the title, and I think that was cool, too).
I find it amusing that people will say that a pic is supposed to be judged on technical merit and how well it fits the challenge and yet turn right around and judge a photo based on something so foolish as the title or the fact that they find the subject matter unappealing.
Good job, Gekker. |

This is one where personal taste overtook voters' appreciation of a great photograph. It is a shame it placed so low, and its placing says a lot more about the voters than it does the image. |

can't believe this finished so low - i gave u an 8 on my first pass thru - then went back and upped it to 10 - my only 10 for the week - one of the very few this week to capture the essense of the challenge without setting it up with the title --- the fates owe you one |

The Colonel really needs to lose a lot of weight. Great gluttony / couch potato shot. |

I scored you high just because I know that you are getting a lot of negative comments. I mean, come on, you met the challenge (I'm debating between sloth and gluttony in your's...prob a combination of both) and it is in focus. The sock mark is a special touch. The lighting could probably be better so it's not a perfect 10 and I wouldn't want to buy this photo and hang it up in my home. Therefore 8 is my score. ...and for an added note, my guy is sexier, has a better cover for the private area and is posed better :-) However, your's is chubbier...LOL |

I like the viewpoint and the way his face is not part of the shot - I am not keen on the other objects in view (cushions/sofa/TV/wall) and would prefer a more even background, but that's just my preference. 6, Kavey |

This completely unflattering photo of this gentleman says nothing to me about sin. I really hope that you had consent as I would really feel bad for this person if you did not. |
