Nice composition - I think the ship in the background adds a lot of interest to the photo. Nice contrast too. |

I think the chain shows strength more than the anchor and should of been the main subject just my thought,good image.. |

Nice picture ,a sepia style of tone would have added to this shot IMO Still a solid photograph A 7 from me |

Very crisp and sharp, nice use of b&w and the contrast looks good... definitely meets the challenge. |

Wish you could take a slghtly different angle that would cut off the cabinet to the right, and show more of the boat in the background. |

geat idea! I found it a difficult task to find a good image of strength. I like the way the eye is drawn into the photo and ends up at the ship in the background |

texture comes across as grainy (pavement, close anchor). Building is not verticle at the corner, neither is the ship's mast. Why b&w? I like it, well exposed to get the darks and not blow out the brights (building). I think yo uwill get comments regarding sky, but ignore them |
