 Cropped and resized. First time submitting (or using any of these image tools). Used iPhoto and Gimp. Gimp is like swimming in a sea of options and iPhoto doesn't do much for you. Definitely getting a new camera and hopefully a clue on how to use some photo software.

Good strong foreground image, but I find several elements distracting. Washed out sky, horizon right in the middle of the image, and tree encroaching from the left all are distracting and weaken the composition.

could use a contrast boost which would make the colors pop. good capture of the texture.
