for some reason this appears like it should be a boring picture. however, there is something about it that i like--the vibrant colors help a lot, plus the symmetry between the hydrant and the fountain add to the composition.

I'm finding the plug gets a little lost int he background. Nice popping colors, though.

Nice! I actually really enjoy this shot. Some might feel that there is too much other color going on behind the hydrant, but not me.

This is a shot where most people might choose to crop out the hydrant, or get an angle where it's not even there. Because it so obviously sticks out, plus the color is bright, I just love it.

Good color point. A bit haphazard composition, though the rule of thirds is nicely observed.
