My first DP Challenge submission!

This is a composite of two images: the lighter image (f5.6, 10s) captured the background and taillights; the darker image (f20, 20s) captured the stoplights and the single pair of oncoming headlights.

I have little experience with layer masking, so this was a fun challenge.

I think this would have been more effective cropping (or recpmposing) such that the grassy areas weren't part of the picture. Still very neat.

very interesting! My only complaint is that the composition isn't very strong and everything is a little cluttered. My eyes aren't really sure where to rest and sort of wander around the photo. I have no idea how one would fix that though - intersections of course always cluttered with telephone poles, signs, and wires strung helterskelter. composing a good composition, I imagine, would be quite difficult. Otherwise this is an interesting concept. :)

The fact that the green lights are so far back in the composition makes this a really difficult shot to figure out without the title.

To my eye the focus is soft, though a prolonged exposure tends to get soft. To me the image lacks a theme as well, it's just a street.

This would be so much cooler at night, with everything else faded to black. It's a nice spot, with the traffic light and the bend/hill in the road. The basic elements of a good composition are here, but the rest of the image is just too distracting for it to have a powerful impact.
