Move closer to the wondow or tighter crop would make this picture alot better for me. Great scene outside

I think , too much kitchen and not enough of that wonderful sunset.

What a lovely view you have out your kitchen window! Great picture, the focus and colors are super.

The interior spoils it

I bet you love living here. I think two things would make this photo stronger.
1 - Move that grill
2- Tighter crop to isolate the window frame and the view.
I don't think you needed the kitchen actually in the photo.

Great caputure on the sunset, and exposure control. I have to admit though, with the kitchen in the photo....it's very interesting. I've never seen a true granite tile installation on the east coast. Dig the cherry & stainless.

Nothing against your kitchen but could have done with more of the sky...cropping.

Now I would get the washing up done if I lived there, I'm sure :-) First reaction is that the square aspect ration of the shot is pecualiar - but in fact it serves to present the picture through the windows as something alien to this interior domestic scene - helped of course by the interio flash illumination. Makes that sunset (rise?) seem even more other-worldly. Good work keeping enough bounce of the glass, and not quite over-powering tthe existing interior light.

I'm jealous of that view.

A closer crop would have helped here - too many distracting elements in the foreground.

What a great view. A wonderful sunset with great colors. I find the fill flash reflection on the counter a bit distracting though.

How I would die for a view like that while washing dishes!

Hot spots from the flash distract, perhaps a shot made closer to the window may have worked better. What a wonderful view you have... I 'd love to have a kitchen view like that!

No need to include the kitchen with such a lovely view.

It would have looked better if you had only the window frame in the "frame". I think that the kitchen detracts a lot from the photo. The view from the window is very beautiful though, I like how you captured the color in the sky :)

Good luck...

I would have liked to see how this would have looked cropped closer. Great sky!

The view is gorgeous! I'm not too fond of the kitchen though, maybe tighter cropping?

Nice sunset but you should have zoomed in to leave out most of the kitchen area. It's hard to make this kind of window frame interesting however since there's not much to it.

your kitchen is too clean. less kitchen and more stunning sunset might have improved the power of the photo.

Lovely view. I'd probably like this image a bit better with less of the inside features & more emphasis on the view. Even just taking some of the plain top area away pulls my eyes more into the window. Considering the difference in lighting between inside & out...nice job of exposinig both well. Also, I would have rotated this ever so slightly to the left to level out the water line.

Lovely sky. Would probably have zoomed in on the window more or cropped the pic differently.

Great sunset and certainly hammers the challenge, but the composition would have been much better if you had moved your grill, the towel(s) and soap.

Beautiful view, captured at a great time. I think it would have been stronger with 1) no inside lights on, to hide the kitchen stuff, and 2) more of a square positioning to the window frame.
