trying to reclaim an image from the "stinker" pile.

this little girl followed me for a block or two but whenever i turned toward her with my camera she hid her face. she was dressed pretty conservatively but had these bright brand new tennis shoes on.

this is more of a "memory shot" than a "photograph," but i thought i'd give it a shot here.

You have done a wonderful job of saving this from the 'stinker' pile. The shoes are really in contrast to the old world surroundings and processing. Truly a great image.

You need to pull more out from the "stinker" pile. You've captured the essence of an old photograph just perfectly.

Actually, I think this is better than "salvaged" - I think it turned out quite freakin' awesome.

WOWOWOWOWWOW!!! This is so awesome. It totally looks like an old photo you would find in your grandmother's attic or something. She tells a great story here. Beautifully done.

wow .. this reminds me of photographs found that have long been forgotten . the young people in the photographs are either very very old now or have passed on .. the girl against the brickwork and the texture all work very well . :)
