 This evening we headed to some friends house to celebrate a birthday. As it got dark out they began shooting off fireworks. This is one of the fireworks I managed to get a picture of. It reminds me of feathers floating.

I have lots more fireworks pictures, from yesterday and today, that I am dying to get out on my page. I am rather proud of how well my pictures came out considering this was my first year attempting firework shots.

You should be proud of how well your pictures came out! Fireworks can be a pain in the rear. I tried to get some this year, but the guy next to me kept taking pics with his flash on!

Really nice capture. I'd love to try taking pictures of fireworks, but there are too darn many people at the beach. I'll sit back and enjoy yours. 8)

I would have expected to see the fireworks for 4th July! I love fireworks, but they are so HARD to get right. You did a great job with this.
