The male form is quite strong and compelling but the background is a little too busy and interferes with the impact and message. |

Of all the photos of men showing muscles this is probably the best as it has real artistic merit. If more editing were allowed I would have removed the branches on the right in the skyline. |

Great photo! The right half seems to feel heavier though, because of the tree in the middle ground and your model is not perfectly symmetrical. He appears to be right handed from the larger "gun" assuming we are looking at him from behind. Not trying to be nitpicky, but perhaps he could've rotated slightly to his left to bring things into proportion? |

Nice silhouette shot with interesting background. This guy is definitely strong looking. Personally, I would have slicked his hair back. That spiky doo takes away from the overall image. Just as a note, he may want to work a little more on that left shoulder for better symetry. |

Excellent picture. I think it's perfect just the way it is. |

re shoot for silhouettes and see if it does as well there....nice biceps., the chest is a little uneven. like the silhouette....not sure about the distraction of the background by the model's right arm. |

very good depiction of the challenge, but a little corny...... Possibly a different pose would have taken the edge off and made it a little more subtle. At any rate, well done. I give it an 8. |

This would do great in the other challenge too! Great idea, nice and sharp. Only thing is the tree branches on the right, a little distracting. |

Nitpicks with this fine photo: Right fist higher than left fist. Trees interfering in the sillhouette of the right arm. Otherwise good interpretation (although straightforward) of the theme. |

I expected loads of shots like this, but there were just a handful. This is by far the best of the bunch. The silhouette is great. Exposure right on. Model's hair is a great touch. Here's a couple small recommendations: 1) Move the camera down just a bit so that the silhouette is all in the sky, showing the mountain/hill tops below his arms. Move the model to the left a bit to remove the tree branches on the right side. (9) |

I like how the body is completely in shadow. Nice touch. I think the trees on the right hand side are a little distracting though |
