IMHO, this is a rather confusing image on the whole. If it weren't for the title I wouldn't have a clue what this was. I think that perhaps a different lighting technique or a different, less cluttered composition might help out. Granted, I would imagine this is probably a difficult subject to photograph!

I like the color on this one, however, not too sure about the composition, if it weren't for the title, i wouldnt have figured out what it is. maybe a wider crop would work better?

The composition could use some work, but it's a 'point of color', and I give you props for capturing a welding torch. f/32 and 1/2000 would do the trick :)
