thank you all and thank you tom too for the posthumous award!
i don't do a lot of setting up for shots I just kinda go with the flow. the colours caught me and it was a little bench my son had put his treat on
I don't understand the obsession with making everything totally un crooked :) life is crooked and I don't think the shot would be any better straightened... just straighter and anyone can do that
I am really glad I had something that week that fit at least one (though might have worked for two) challenges :) |

colors are lovely, perhaps i prefer the blue bank in focus (for the weathered challenge), but the contrast are wonderfull.
and we can see you in the spoon...

| there is something about this photo that I really like. I'd love to see it larger to see more of the reflection in the spoon. |

I'm curious to see how much planning went into this. It seems to be a spur of the moment type of photo. If I were to title it I would've called it "Plate Optional". It would be just a pinch better if the blue table filled the frame.

| The contrast between the stark auburn/orange and the blue is nice , especially with the slight green rim of the rind. |
