Good use of the window for framing; nice light. Might have been nice to block the sun further with that angled right frame.

Beautiful! You caught the sun in just the right spot!

The sun's rays echoing the shape of the window frame is very effective. Also the placement of the rays in the angle of the frame, and the placement of the spire of the distant building all add up to an excellent framing job. I give this one a 9.0

Excellent framing on a beautiful afternoon. Did you also try hiding more of the ultra-bright sky behind the frame?

Great pic! Was this the image you were talking about that would've made a great entry in the Silhouettes challenge? Personally, I would've messed with the color balance and perhaps upped the saturation a tad. Even though the sun's rays are brilliant, the sky and clouds still seem dull to me.

I guess other things perhaps ruin the composition, but I'd love to see that sun-burst placed in the middle of that window frame. Good exposure, good hyper-focal distance. The slight sharpening artefacts around the frame are actually quite effective in adding emphasis to the silhouette.

This is a beautiful sky and a wonderful graphic created by the window. I like how the window panes echo a rising sun and sunbeams juxtaposed to the real sunbeams behind. However, it BEGS to be perfectly centered or else have the "rays" of the frame coming out from the corner. As it is, the placement of the panes seems haphazard and keeps this from really being as spectacular as it could be.

Nice- the frame draws my eye to the city line, and creatively breaks up the sky.

Auckland from the distance? Are you on the ferry? In Devonport maybe? :))) Actually from this perspective I can't make out exactly where you are.

Cool! Being a perfectionist, I would have cropped the right a little bit more to make it symmetrical. Great picture!
