 I liked the light. And the pigeons. Apparently I have a thing for pigeons.

What makes this shot work for me is how the man and pigeons are equidistant from the pole and shadow, and yet the man is vertical and pigeons are on the ground near the shadow. This picture has an overall sense of balance to me.

Lovely deep blacks in this conversion. Love the long shadow of the lamp post, and those of the pigeons as well. I have a thing for pigeons too, and will stalk them from time to time. :)

Great light/shadows, especially that of the lampost on the left and how this interplays with the pigeon at the front. Nice job!

lovely scene! shadows, silhouettes, haloes, window reflections on the wall - it has it all :). Great processing, too.

Edit: forgot to mention, yes, and pigeons.

A studied & probably patient observation. A fortunate alignment of the birds and approaching figure, and all at the edge of a shadow - beautiful.
