 Taken around 5:00 p.m. as I was leaving work. There's a gym in the next block, and that's where she is probably headed.

It's nice to see respectful candids. I guess I've just had my fill of "A Bum _____" photos. Nice clean lines and sense of motion. I have to say I'd like to see either a little more or a little less motion blur, just because of the tiles behind her head.

lol .. do you ride a bike germaine ?? .. & its like your camera will follow a bike whether you want it to or not .. lol .. great shot again .. :)

I agree with others that this is taking on a nice theme and so far the images beg for further scrutiny allowing the imagination to run off with its own tale.

There are a few subtle things I think are contributing to what makes this so effective for me....the slight motion blur, and/or diffusion of the tree, vs sharp cyclist and bike........the muted colours, the highlights of the shiny wheels and cap, and just the questions it invokes......where's she been, where is she going, to gym? Yep, a very good slice of life.
This is what I'm getting out of this side challenge, with you experienced photographers around.

You sure have managed to get those moving shots down. There is something about this picture that keeps my attention. Maybe it is the lady against the simple background. I have the urge to know what she is thinking.

I like the hint of motion blur here, and combined with the muted blues/green gives it an overall dreamy effect. I must admit that it's really cool to exercise (ride the bike) on her way to exercise.
