 I took some quick shots after I ran/ate at lunchtime. This flower was just glowing in the sunlight and I thought it would make a good picture.

I know you weren't very happy with this photo but, I think it is quite lovely. Very simplistic and elegant. I love how some of the petals still seem to be uncurling. Great back drop of the green and yellow bokeh.

I like it, that something simple, like a flower about to open, is what depicts a 'slice of life' for you.
