 This is one of the flowers planted on our patio. It is a dahlia. I found it rather fascinating with its imperfections.

Has a very nice, soft feel to it and the focus is great! It's nice how the petals slowly fade into the dark background.

You did a fantastic job of processing this. It's so soft and detailed, yet has that bit of sharpness where it should be. If I hadn't read your comments, I would have never guessed this was done on the patio.

Really pretty. I like the square crop and the centering. I've gotten into that lately instead of the rule of thirds which I used to prefer. I like the soft glow feel of it. It suits the flower perfectly. :~)

Absolutely beautiful, because of the imperfections rather than in spite of them. The processing is wonderful, so gentle and dreamlike.

very beautiful amanda .. and yes i agree, the imperfections are the things that give this its character and make it even more interesting .. love the curled over petals .. love the colours and the excellent way its poking out'v the blackness . brilliant shot .. :)
