Hey.. I just wanted to ask you to please forgive my initial harshness. A 2 was a bit low for this shot. I think the photo still relies on a lot of cute value and therefore is an extremely valueable shot yet more suited for a family album than a public forum. However, there is depth here that I failed to acknowledge before. A 5 is probably more in line with this shot than the 2 I originally gave. I think it was so stinkin cute I originally discredited the shot for that reason. |

Obviously a grandchild - total focus on child. Good portrait but doesn't spark an interest for a photo contest. As good as any of my grandchildren shots. Clear and sharp |

I don't think that what she feels is a sin. |

I don't usually rate photo's highly that are just of a kid, but this one is an exception. Her eyes are unbelievable and there is the unquestioning look of pride. Rated 8. |

her dilated pupils show more to me than anything else in the picture...she most certainly is very proud! |

I don't think this pride is a sin, but doggonnit, it is pride. The judges accept. |

But not pride in the sinful sense, more joy. |

Nice contrast with the idea of "sin", as this fine little person appears so innocent :-) Pride of this nature I think is great, not sinful. 5 nards656 |

Cute expression and very cute model... The background could have used a little more thought though... There seems to be a white (cup?) thing growing out of her left ear. A blank background (or even better, a soccer field) would have helped this shot tremndously... I almost wanted to give you a hard time about meeting the challenge since a child's pride in their accomplishments is not actually what is refereed to in the '7 deadly sins'... But then I realized (though I could be wrong) that it is your pride in her and not her pride that you are referring to here. While that could be debated as not a sin either, it certainly could be if misdirected... So I give you full points for on challenge + 1 extra for a unique, thoughtful way of expressing it. ~MyQyl~
By the way, tell her I said Congratulations!!! |

A precious photo and if she won this trophy, she should be proud. I don't think that kind of pride is what is considered a deadly sin. And I definitely see nothing sinful implied or shown in this photo. |

Excelent shot. Definately captures pride at it's best. I love that she's wearing a soccer shirt, as well as holding the soccer trophy. Her smile says it all. I think that the background could be better, but under the circumstances, it's ok. You have blurred it enough, that it doesn't take much from the photo at all. Only the white cup near her head really stands out, and even that is no big deal. Lighting on the girl and her trophy is great. Angle and framing/cropping are also very nice. Great shot. 8 Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

this is too cute for a 'seven deadly sins' challenge, but it's your photo. Cute. |

How sweet it is. In this case...I say that it's ok to sin. The capture of the eyes really pulls it forward. |

More evenly lit would help this one out. Also, if you plan to hang this up somewhere, I would dodge out the stains on the shirt - very distracting, but I won't fault you for that. (4) MarkRob |

Sorry... there is too much innocence involved here for it to be truly sinful. Children, even those who do go beyond proud, are symbolic of innocence not greed. It would be very hard to pull off otherwise, although I suppose two sisters tugging at a trophy would do it. This is just a pleasant shot of a proud kid reflecting innocence and wanting recognition and approvl. Give her a hug. |
