 This is a picture of the Pedernales River as it flows through Hunt Texas. At this point it is a sleepy little river and a beautiful place to be. This photo was taken Sunday morning. I got here late on Saturday and so was swimming here Saturday night but you couldn't see all of this at night.

Wow tremendous shot and as Michelle pointed out a 6+ in free study is nothing to be sneezed at

Beautiful reflections and the richness of the colour almost gives the shot a tonemapped/HDR feel to it

Looks like a wonderful place to get back to nature and the sort of image that makes me think 'I want to go there' (although I would wonder what wildlife lurked in that water)

ETA - Is that a knotted 'swing rope' on the right of the shot if so you can become my hero by telling me that that was what you used to enter the water on the Sunday
