 this was taken about 7 mins drive from our home going into picton early in the morning when i was on my way to the gym .. the car coming over the rise is a total random ..
i was imagining i had another day till voting started .. was considering a different title or another photograph entirely .. i didnt think an ordinary rural scene like this could compete with some of the awesome scenery that ppl are able to photograph in other places ..
imagine my shock when i found out that this was already in voting ..
the score was pretty much wot i would have predicted for it ..
I LIE .. !! ..
i thought it might get 6.2 .. !!!

Roz - love the atmosphere in this - wonderful shot.

Free Studies are the most fickle of challenges . . so many good shots just get lost in the crush.

damn the free studies....
when i see what you can do with a camera and photoshop its kinda depressing, i don't know how you get such rich, vivid colors.

Great photo, but what stands out the most to me is the incredible colour of the sky which is at once both enticing and ominous

Really glad that people got this shot (although it would have been nicer if they had got it a bit more)

This picture is actually awesome, allow me to be your first favorite here. It seems to tell a story and has a lot of depth, Could be a movie poster. Great job.

Roz - I loved the story you were creating here. The car with the headlights in the background was a great touch. Makes you wonder what's gonna happen when the car reaches the bridge!
