 Late afternoon sun through the haze of smoke from over one thousand California wildfires which hung over the Bay Area for several days last week.

-Handheld, shutter-priority mode
-RGB Curve
-Made selection mask for sky area
-Red and Blue Curves applied to sky area through mask
-RGB and Blue Curves applied to foreground through inverted mask
-Perspective tool to straighten vertical elements from wide-angle tilt
-Resize
-USM at 12%/48 dia/TH = 0
-Rectangular selection from pole to left edge
-USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH = 5 applied twice to selected area
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 9/10 = 160kb
