| Did you know that budgies are yellow and green in the wild? The different coloured varieties come from breeding them in captivity. Not just colour, but body shape, feathers and beaks are changed by breeders.... |

| The red looks great on my monitor but the blue looks a bit "splotchy", if that makes sense. I'm not sure if that's due to colorspace issues or shooting jpg. Either way it's a nice photo, and that ball thing really balances out the shot. |

This is a fine pet image from you, and a great way to start.
I have a pet budgie and I will proberly take a photo of him as well for this side challenge foe mu slice of life. |

hey again jeremy ...!!
i was in a hurry when i wrote that last comment, but i wanted to say that we had a budgie & he was a real character too .. we had hours of gut wrenching laughter because of his antics .. and he was very very intelligent with a HUGE vocabulary !!! ..lol .... my laugh was a killer repeated back from our little bird ..
he'd sit on our dinner plates and peck at our food .. fortunately he didnt eat the avocado because apparently it can kill them ..
anyway i love the way you've got his little face totally in focus and his eye .. ours was a similar colour too .. :) |

| Your aussies are far to early. It's now just 0:28 AM here. I like Titchy (although I don't know what kind it is). Very nice look! Perhaps less color problems when shooting in raw mode? |
