My first portrait shot with my new (old) strobes, and it's a self portrait. As soon as I saw the challenge pop up, I knew this would be my idea. In fact, I think this was the exact scene as I read the title of the speed challenge.
Photoshop was convert from RAW, curves adjustment to blow out the background, curves again to darken the filament, selective color to bring out the yellow in the filament, lots of masking, gaussian blur on the skin to smooth it out, dodging and burning various parts of the face, cloning out a couple minor skin imperfections, resize, usm, save for web. I can't guarantee everything is in order, but at least its all there. |
