I just love this photo so much - the comfortable intimacy between the father and daughter as they wave goobye to the train traveller (perhaps the wife and mother, or a visiting grandparent). There is a wonderful sense of narrative, with so many stories to explore.
Perhaps not the best challenge for the photo - I wish it was in the Free Study - but certainly one to go in to my favourites. |

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really understand how this fits the reuse, recycle theme. If using public transportation is it, then I guess I do, but without the title, this really is out of the box in a way.
Very nice shot and a great choice for b&w.
I'm leaning to thinking out of the box and as I commute away from this image, do so leaving high marks behind.

| Some may say that this doesn’t fit the “reduce, reuse, recycle” part of the challenge descriptionâ€Â¦ nice entry either way. Only comment: if “two” are planning to board the train – it looks like they are on the wrong side of the tracksâ€Â¦ Hope picture does well! |

| i love the passion of this entry - the sharp light to accentuate the two, the dinner in ecofriendly containers, the girl draped over 'dad' - it all works well for me |
