Good idea, but the pic is somewhat overexposed. 8

Excellent composition although I would've liked to see a little more lustre in the rings and a little less contrast. Perhaps softening the image would've helped? Instead, it seems a tad oversharpened.

Overexposed, but I get the impression that was your intention. I would have preferred to be able to discern the ring from the background at all points.

Very good idea for this challenge. To my eyes your picture looks a bit over exposed or perhaps too much contrast.

way to bright. hurts to look at.

Good Idea! I like it. I wish the back of the rings were not soo "hot" though.

Waaaay over-exposed. If you over-exposed the image on purpose, I don't think it adds any "artistic" value to the image, only detracts from it.
04/15/2004 09:15:10 AM
I really don't like the high-key exposure and harsh lighting but that's just an artistic difference I suppose.

Nice shot...a little hot, but nice idea and love the reflectivity of the rings.

Overexposed, would have been better w/o the border IMO

The high key is overdone, imho. 4
04/15/2004 04:16:52 AM
A bit overexposed.

looks like you used 1 billion watt lamp here... ouch!
04/14/2004 09:38:23 AM
I love the idea. I'd like the image a lot more if it were not such a high contrast depiction.

Great concept. I like the over-exposed look of this.

I like the idea. IMO the highlights could have been brought down a touch to prevent the loss of detail.

I feel the contrast is a bit harsh. Composition fine though.

A bit overexposed for a high key photo in my opinion, but I like the idea
