Amazing

I love this picture. The converging vertical lines are great and black and white works perfectly.
04/20/2004 12:54:15 PM
must have been a strong old house a one time
04/20/2004 04:43:20 AM
Nice Idea, good shot

Lovely.
04/19/2004 03:05:51 PM
... but it doesn't seem having a lot left! :)
04/19/2004 11:34:08 AM
cool perspective
04/19/2004 08:23:57 AM
Nice idea, amazing sky.
04/18/2004 01:03:31 AM
Very nice B&W. I absolutely love that sky.
04/17/2004 04:31:40 PM
What a compelling image! I'm at a loss for words, but nice shot. 7.
04/16/2004 03:00:14 PM
to me it looks like it doesn't have much strength left!
04/16/2004 01:40:19 PM
But, how much longer? It's a very good picture. The black and white make it more
dramatic than colour would. The clouds have a strange structure. Almost as if painted.

Here is a shot I wish I took and had in my portfolio of photos.
04/16/2004 06:08:02 AM
What a great picture...no flaws at all...10
04/16/2004 01:32:46 AM
Blimey! Does the house really look like that, or did you use some funky lens? Either way, jobsagoodun! The B&W totally suits the subject matter, the sky is suitably dramatic, composition and focus all in check... very interesting and arresting image - if there's any justice in the world this will be at least a top 10 finisher. go you! 10

Very nice exposure and lighting / contrast here. I see this more as weakness than strength, but I can see the connection.
04/15/2004 12:13:14 PM
This is a really interesting photo - and you've captured just the right kind of sky to go along with the house. The color balance is great. I like how the image makes you wonder if the house is in a state of "weakness" instead of a state of "strength," and how you can't really tell. This gets my top vote for the week, along with one other photo.

Awesome abandoned house. Great shot!
04/15/2004 09:52:26 AM
heh! Cool shot ... this one might even look good in color too with a deep blue sky. Well done! -9

.... I just love this photo. Nice!
04/15/2004 08:05:33 AM
Doesn't look very strong anymore... but an awesome picture nonetheless.

04/14/2004 02:38:24 PM
I love the overall feel of this. Works well in B&W.
04/14/2004 01:32:41 PM
Unusual building, nice composition, moody sky works well
04/14/2004 01:15:44 PM
this wide angle image makes it look even more sideways!!!!
04/14/2004 12:58:07 PM
More like strength of gravity. Good one. 8
04/14/2004 09:58:18 AM
That's a really nice photo! It's sort of saying the opposite of strength, by my interpretation, but I understand your point.
04/14/2004 09:49:22 AM
looks like it would collapse with the slightest gust of wind. i like the perspective and nice b+w tonal range. great shot overall, i'm just not feeling strength from it.
04/14/2004 09:02:17 AM
I see a ribbon. This is my favorite!!!
04/14/2004 08:22:26 AM
Nice shot. There seems to be little 'strength' left in this old home...
04/14/2004 02:40:51 AM
beatiful..
04/13/2004 10:18:58 PM
Superb lighting and composition. What a marvelous idea. My only wish would be to see a little more in the foreground, to make it seem like it was falling into the sky.
04/13/2004 08:53:27 PM
i like the idea and I could tell the story.....nice composition....I like the way the clouds forms...nice capture...9
04/13/2004 08:41:20 PM
