I see a lot of potential in this shot but I would have liked to have seen some of the black "wall" cropped off the top and better lighting.

With a better lighting, this would have earned more points. 4/10

Most odd - great shot, superb idea and the composition works... (10)

This looks very grainy to me. Expecially the background. I love the composition though. That was some serious apple eating you did. I like this because it's not the typical still life fruit shot you normally see. The angle is wonderful and your framing/cropping are also great. Excelent choice of "garbage". Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

Bad jpeg artifacts, but good idea, totally different still life.

ooh rotting fruit. haha. too bad there wasn't an orange.

Mavica FD? You're overcompressing, and that is almost never a good thing. I don't know your camera type, I'm only guessing at the Mavica FD thing because they're notorious for over compressing. Definitely look into JPEG compression, starting from what your camera saves to what your image editor does. It's a great image otherwise (except I might crop out the top blackness)

The idea for this shot might be the best one for the whole challenge. I don't know if you have some compression issues of if you made the image sort of grainy on purpose. Whatever you did, I like it a lot.

What a sense of humor you have! This is really gross! And meets the challenge quite nicely. Points for originality!

I gave you a 9. Why? This pic stood out from the crowd. Well arranged etc... only reason not a 10, doesn't seem properly lit. But only my opinion.

I don't know if the quality was reduced on purpose, but I like it in this case as it looks almost like a painting

Nice idea but you have lost a lot of detail by over-compressing this.

interesting

bit artificial feeling,nice pic though

A great take on the cliched "bowl of fruit" pictures.. have a 7 (dropped a point for pic quality)

Oooh that compression...
