Having the child reacting to the size of the tree is great, just the tree would be lacking the human element. |

Nice work including the child - that really emphasizes and puts into perspective the magnitude of the tree. |

Nice photo! It fits the challenge nicely. The child looking up was a good idea. Is this a Sitka Spruce, or something else?

I like this idea of strength (was thinking of doing a tree myself), and you pulled it off well! The contrast between the small boy (looking wayyyy up!) and the large, tall tree gives this photo a wonderful sense of awe. The coloring and lighting in the photo complements the photo perfectly. Great job! |

The child is just the right thing to really get the scale on this. |

Tis is about as everlasting as you can get. The biggest things on the planet. Still here after 5000 years, hence they must be strong. |

Great scale. That's all this photo needs to portray the beauty and power of this tree. |

The upturned head really helps capture the sense of magnificence in the tree. 8 |

Your attention to detail has produced an excellent image from what could have been ordinary snap. The addition of the child..the upward glance and the lighting all add so much to the overall effect.
Good work |

With that title I was expecting a crocodile or a hippo. I love the pic, the sense of scale given by the kid admiring the tree is clever. |
