I couldn't vote on this challenge but if I had this would have got a 10 from me. Excellent shimmmer from the wings and a good challenge concept too. |

Excellent bee macro! I always have a hard time getting close enough. The bee either flies away as the camera approaches, or they turn and fly towards me sending me running off in a panic :D |

The wings are too blury. :)
I was trying to photograph some bees on flowers yesterday. I was lucky to even get a bee in the frame, and none turned out this good. Nice photo!

Great movement and I like that you can see the texture on the bee. |

Aerodynamically speaking, the bumble-bee should not be able to fly; and yet it does. Nice macro shot, with good texture on the flower but I would have preferred the bee to be sharper. |

Super picture. I love how the bee's wings have motion blur. The focus, color and composition are great. |

I knew someone was going to slip in a bug shot... and here it is. Nice how you captured the wings in motion with the body in clear focus. |

NICE Great color and composition on a difficutl subject. The movement of the wings shows true strength |

I wonder how many people will understand your title? I used to have a "Bee" pin, given to me by a friend who was encouraging me in overcoming the odds in a tough situation. I think this is a nice idea and I really like the photo. the wings blur adds a lot to the shot. And you just made a liar out of me.....on one of the forums I said I was tired of seeing insect shots....but I like this one a lot. |

A solid 9 from me! I love how you caught the motion of the wings here. The only thing keeping it from being ("bee"-ing) a 10 is that I don't feel it does a great job of meeting the challenge topic... it doesn't quite scream "strength" to me. |

A common misconception. It's actually the uneven structure of their wings, that makes them able to fly - had the surface of the wings been flat, then it would have defied physics. See - that's what you get when you don't think your research through, properly.
Nice photo, anyway. |

I like your subject, there is much strength in the tiniest bee. I like the action in the wings, and the bee and flower are in crisp focus. Overall, nice job! |

You might want to have a look at this: //kamps.org/g/?kdgx - but otherwise it is a pretty good picture. |
