This picture has nothing to do with strength, it is a caged and humbled creature that deserves to leave freely - its about the weakness, a weakness of self indulgence.

being in a cage does not imply strength to me of this subject and it is too bad that his body is so dark and we can not see any feathers on his body

If you look at this as a photo of a bald eagle it is only a so so photo. There also seems to be something wrong with having a captive eagle as a symbol of strength. If this had been an eagle in the wild it would have had a whole lot more impact.

A caged eagle does not represent america - or does is it supposed to show that america is caged by it political process. Nonetheless this picture does not hit the mark about strength. Maybe a picture of a nuclear bomb with this title would work better.

background distracting

Very magestic, great timing with the eagles scream

Wonderful photo! I love how you caught the open mouth on this eagle. The compostion is nice, also, with the tree to the side. I like the subtlety of the colors on the eagle. Maybe a little dark, but overall, very nice!

I do not like the fence in the background (but what are you going to do -- maybe blur it more with a shallower DOF? -- dunno). A different crop or angle might have helped as well. Bottom line, there is something that strikes me as odd about this photo, but I have not pin-pointed it yet. I'll look back toward the end.

too bad it's in a cage...

You have caught the eagle's argumentative nature here, but the netting, unfortunately, tends to diminish the effectiveness of your picture. Try to avoid including it wherever possible.

Caged - Strength

The visible cage really detracts fromt the strength and power notation. I would suggest blurring it out or something.

This bird doesn't look the least bit real. Whether it is or isn't... I don't like being able to see cage in the background. A shallower dof would have really helped.

Your eagle actually looks strong!! Interesting interpretation of challenge. I just wish there had been some way to blur out the bars in the background. Good luck in the challenge. I like this one!!

Nice colors and boldness, but the fact that the eagle is in a cage goes against the "strength" theme in the image.

Great shot, i like the pose of the eagle. A tighter crop would have improved an already good pic. I like to think your message is that the strength of a nationis caged in its own sense of self-importance.

Background distracting, needs to be cropped more to focus on the eagle.

The cage hurts the imagery, but nice shot

Great subject and capture. I'm afraid the cage is in direct conflict with the meaning of the message.

I like the photo of the eagel really much but the surronding is bothering me , the wires behind (the cage)

I don't think a caged and tied up eagle shows much strength, I'm afraid.
