 I thought the runners are in a single line. Their are parallel with the yellow line and the edge of the road. I don't know maybe I should give up and leave the club! Look at my profile for voting in received and cast almost 3 times different

It meets the challenge to my eyes, Stephen. I think there are a lot of very picky voters in some of these challenges. The them, a line must be perfectly straight. I do think the technical aspects probably contributed to a lower score. The runners need to be a little crisper in focus, the contrast a little stronger. But don't give up!

harsh lighting and "frozen" runners hurt this one, try using a lower shutter speed for a bit of movement in the legs to show action

The "single line" here, to me, is unclear. The runners aren't in a single line and the yellow line can't be followed since it runs out of the image. The only line left that I see is the edge of the road and I can't call that the "subject" as the challenge requires. I also think it could be more sharply in focus. But, I like the idea of it.
