This bike path is just north of my home in NW Calgary. When Burnco purchased the land for future use as a gravel pit they agreed to create a bike path 2 km in length. They obeyed to the letter and the path starts in the middle of nowhere and abruptly ends.

Processing:

In PSP XI
Channel mixer adjustment layer
Erased the center line in the adjustment layer
Noise removal on base layer
Duplicated base layer
selected clouds and applied gaussian blur
USM
HSL Layer in overlay mode
reduced visibility of hsl layer to 65
crop

Wow that is just a really lovely shot!

Just read about the bike bath to nowhere - that's fairly funny.

How very sad about the bike path - either that info wasn't there when I commented before or I missed it. And what a waste! By the way, I still love this shot.
