Have you ever tried directing films?
If not, why not?
A lighting cameraman would be proud of this, too!
At these sizes, no sign of any camera shake, but have you got a tripod, or anti-shake lenses? - that would solve the 1/10 second, and the zone of clear focus and dramatic lighting on the villain's face is just perfect to tell the story of a man so obsessed by revenge, so hardened by evil, that no remorse is the perfect title!
No reflection on your friend in front, but guessing what job he might do in real life, I can't see it being a florist or similar, but security guard or even bodyguard, or something involving night work in the jewelery trade? (he's probably a primary school teacher, really!)
very good choice of 'actors', considering they are friends!
Your pix of people shows a very enviable ability to get people to pose just as you need, and they seem to enjoy doing it - a great and useful talent. Many more ribbons for you, I am sure!

Excellent work as usual. The use of 'light' on the crime scene and how it is placed opposite to the man's face really balances out this frightful scene. |

Congrats on the Red! Creepy. Just plain creepy. Love the blank stare - I think that's what really gave this image that special touch. |

I agree 100 % with Robert.
On your entry, beginning with the bad guy skin's imperfections, and all the background, sky's details, buildings, ...all this imperfect grainy tonality collaborate to transmit the idea of human misery |

Your bad guy is certainly scary, he has this "don't give a damn" look on his face. This is a great shot, Alfredo. You really nailed the challenge with this one. |

Why not start a thread about it (say at the start I asked you to) and ask people THEIR opinions. Be really interesting to see what the consensus is...
Nice work! |

I like this one because I see here an attempt at giving a personal and broader view of what crime means, the pain and sorrow for the relatives of the victim vis à vis the easyness with which apparently people kill other people. Unfortunately the right eye of the killer, which plays a great role in the overall composition, looks a little too overprocessed, or in any case unnatural; therefore it is just 8 for me. |

Very eerie. Like the girls pose and expression. You may score lower for having a photo of a crime rather of the crime scene, but who knows how voters choose to vote. |

Great job on this! My top pick. I love the effect of light around the body and the eye of the "killer". I keep looking for more detail all over this picture. Great composition that tells a story - 10 |

The details on your criminal's face look a bit off to me, can't put my finger on why. might be the way you PP'ed it.
You've conveyed a great mood with this shot. |
