Pretty simple edit - cropped, cloned background, fixed torn edge of petal, etc.

Nice healing on the petal there on the right hand side. I find it hard sometimes, when doing an extraction and a cloning, to get the edge just right. You did a wonderful job.

I like that you took this from the backside of the flower. No body ever does that! lol as for the prcessing, the flower itself is definitely bolder, with enhanced texture and detail. I'm torn between your background and sfalice's rendition. Both good, but in different ways!

Yes, the crop, exchange of background, the enhanced color all add to the beauty of this flower.
Somehow, all the above and perhaps a little more, have given this flower some dimension or roundness that add to the work. I have a feeling this would look really good in a sort of dappled background using soft yellows, pinks and greens. (Sort of build your own bokeh) Just a thought, it's fine as is.

I couldn't help myself. This is what I mean -

Nice job of color detail and sharpness. The black background really makes it pop.

Nice idea shooting the underside of the pansy- the edit really shows off the edges & warm colors- I like this VERY much :)
