Tip is her name. It just occurred to me that the innocent viewer might think I'm referring to the tilt of the photo - but no.

I was leaning across the table and had to contort a bit to avoid getting other things into the frame. Thus the tilt.

The photo had a lot of red in it due to the light and the red doors. I drained some of it, but still left some of the warm glow.

This is processed with Lucis Klimt - an underused and underappreciated filter. You have to feel your way into it.

Besides the usual sharpening, levels and such, I also used xero porcelain on it - twice between sharpenings.

The processing really gives this a nice glow. I know many are trying to do the "no crop" thing, but I feel it would be stronger with a bit off the top. It looks like it's going to be a nice collection and I look forward for more.

I really like this photo. On occasion, and by pure serendipity I get a casual shot that has the charm you have caught in this shot.

I can understand why there was confusion on the title’s meaning. Regardless of whether it is the rotation of the frame, or Tip’s name, it is a very charming photo. I would be of it proud if I took it.

Nice. Per your comment, I did think you meant the photo "tipped!" I don't mind the reddish quality -- it almost looks like your friend is lit by candlelight.

This has a sense of soft nostalgia. I like the tilt. Tip - what a cute name.
