Convert RAW, curves, slight rotation and crop, Neat Image, resize, USM, SFW.

Actually, the vase is sitting on black foam core with black matting behind and lit by a single diffused tungsten light high and slightly behind on the left and a white bounce card to the right.

I like the strong, natural (I think) light and how it comes from one direction. The arrangement looks terrific against the black -- it really pops. Good job. And your wife clearly has a talent for arranging!
