 30 minutes before rollover and I have a 6.38 - which isnt bad considering the first 15 votes or so had me at 5.1. This is our pastors wife and her daughter. I did the drawing. During this shoot we discovered that our ac unit had been leaking under the wall onto our studio room carpeting. Kind of sucked. But the shoot went well. I know its not a real crime, but it has a criminal aspect (anyone who is a parent knows this scene all too well). Thanks for the great votes and comments. Hope it makes top 20.

I love your work in general and I love this too... but it would have been over the top if she had actually DONE the drawing on the wall...

I love the placement of her chubby, dimpled little hands though...

Seems like a nice soft light/gaussian layer but kinda wrecked by the oversharpening. Wonderful concept, setup.

Cute shot here. Made me smile seeing it.
The post-processing seems a bit harsh around the edges (jaggies/halos) and believe it or not, a softer approach is more soothing on the eyes, making it look sharper.

The near perfect circle and square along with scribbles of a more practiced hand leads me to believe the child is telling the truth and is being framed by the adult. Shame on you for implicating the child... nice pic though and very cute little girl.

Classic scene in my house! I like the composition. DOF is strange for me, the adult's arm looks like a T-Rex's arm. I think the crayons deserve to be in focus. The child is fantastic, and is selling the emotion.

Very good photo. The yellow dress has some blown highlights. The little girl is smiling or ???? and I would have loved to see that.

I like this a lot. Love the pose of the little girl. The only thing that spoils it slightly for me is the uneven background that's quite dark on the left hand side.
