I love this picture! This is exactly what I aspire to - living in a not-so-big house on big water without the ties that bind. Looking at this helps me breathe deep and easy.

Looks like success to me! Not just in the subject but in the photo-taking, too. :) Looks like the commenters agree with me! Reminds me I get to go up to our family cottage in Vermont in only two weeks.

An excellent example of a shot that should have scored much higher. Not only does it tell a story, but it stirs strong emotions - at least for those of us who have had the opportunity to visit or live in the country.
