I like the blown out look of this. I know what you were going for and I think it might have been a little too much for the average voter. You can tell by some of your 6-10 votes that some poeple got it...

I think the trick was to present a high contrast image without blowing out highlights and losing details in the shadows. This is harsh. Tough to view.
