nice effect but similar to the spinning car wheel, I'd like to see the difference between the static and the dynamic...striking focus and detail on the static string while the wheel is blurry and depicts the movement, nice composition though

Beautiful clean shot of the yo-yo. I believe that a vertical crop with more of the string may do more justice to this great shot. If you had the yo-yo doing "walk the dog" this crop would be perfect. "9"

Very simple! Works very well. Might be just a bit of overexposure on the string and top of the Yo-Yo.

Wheel-ish, I guess...who'd have thought of that! Unique contribution.

I understand the glow imperial, but it doesn't look like it on my screen. It could be the way my screen is adjusted or it could be too long an exposure to make the photo. Good try anyway.

Is it a spinning Jojo ? For composition I would make a much more drastic crop so that the wheel is really on the lower edge. Or a deadcentered position.

If the string were crisp this would work for me in b&w. But without that, I want to see color--something neon so it really glows. (just the way I see it)

this is interesting shot... i simply lije it; i wouldn't be able to explain one... it's peaceful; i don't particularly like the title...

I bet I'd have scored this higher if it was in color, especially if it really glows.

A spinning yo yo! The only one I've seen so far and it's great. Black and white makes it really pop! Perfect use of the rule of thirds.
