when i opened dpc this morning and saw the cowboy challenge on my home page, well i thought you might be on the front page .. dont know why !! .. so i opened it up ..
8th place aint bad .. !!
brilliant image .. love the fact that he's not even there, just the hat ..

The idea is a bit of a cliché (there's several in this challenge alone), I like what you've done with the POV. Your palette is exceptional.

I like the dramatic sky that you've captured here. The posts and barb wire work well to bring your eye to the had. Great textures in the old wood of the posts. Well done

My favorite, by far, of the hat on the fence entries. This one is very well done and gives a feel of sadness to me in remembering the tribute to a fallen cowboy. Well done.
